National Museum of History of Luxembourg city
The National Museum of History of Luxembour City boasts six stories of exhibits detailing more than 1,000 years of history. The facility also features a computer-assisted multimedia system giving visitors access to interactive data files that display nearly 10,000 authentic documents and 60 animated audio-visual sequences. A main attraction of the museum is its panoramic lift. The glass lift travels the entire height of the facility providing breathtaking views to its riders. The lift can hold more than 60 people. It travels at a slow pace to allow riders ample time to admire the rock foundations visible from the lower levels and the view of the Rham Plateau and Grund District from the upper levels.
